The Origin of the Capsule
The story of Pyramidestal has its roots in the childhood of Pierre Béliveau. As a young boy, he tragically lost a friend of the same age who drowned. The news, shared with his mother by the grieving family, deeply shook them both. During the funeral, Pierre was struck with the realization that being buried also meant being touched by the water that rises through the ground. In his child’s mind, he promised himself he would never face such a fate. This powerful memory stayed with him throughout his life and eventually grew into a clear idea: to find another way to honor the departed.
Over time, this childhood thought became a concrete project. In 2011, the first test was carried out. Three years later, the results were conclusive: the body could be preserved without any trace of decomposition. This milestone marked the true beginning of Pyramidestal.
Today, this vision takes shape in a unique capsule: an innovative, respectful, and sustainable solution. More than just a technical approach, Pyramidestal represents a tribute filled with dignity, peace and meaning.
